Air Pro can automatically react to particles in the air with Auto Protect mode. Its sensor can detect three size ranges of particles- PM10 (pollen), PM2.5 (dust), and PM1.0 (smoke). So when it knows the concentration of these pollutants has increased, it will compensate by speeding up to clean the air faster. Auto Protect mode has a Quiet setting that will cap the speed at a reasonable volume, and a Standard setting that is free to ramp all the way up if it continues to see particles in the air.
